I’m a motorcyclist and wanted a reliable way to share my current location with my family to ease any worries or fears. Although PAJ offers solutions for direct vehicle installation, I chose the PAJ Allrounder 4G because its built-in battery doesn’t drain the motorcycle’s battery when parked. This also allows me to track the bike’s position for a certain amount of time even when it’s not running.

For installation on the motorcycle, I 3D-printed a custom mount that securely holds the magnetic charger so the tracker can be charged via USB while riding.

In addition to simple location tracking, I integrated the tracker into Home Assistant. This allows me to link my ridden kilometers with service intervals and maintenance tasks. It also enables smart notifications based on my current position — for example: “I’m almost home.”
