On the night of 27th to 28th October 2023, thieves stole my ATV. I tracked the thieves myself using the GPS to determine their location. Meanwhile, I stayed on the phone with the police, providing them with the location. About 20 km later, I was able to locate the transporter. Thirty seconds later, three patrol cars arrived.

The thieves had loaded the roughly 500 kg ATV into the transporter, intending to flee with it. The police arrested one of the suspects who was in the transporter and interrogated him. Naturally, he gave up his accomplices. The remaining suspects are being sought with arrest warrants.

Thanks to the tracker, I was able to prevent a loss of around €15,000.
