I regularly attach the ALLROUND Finder to my horse while she is on the paddock or pasture. This allows me to track her movements live and also see how many Kilometers she walks each day. It was incredibly interesting to discover where exactly my horse spends her nights when no one is at the yard.

Different behavior patterns—such as sleeping, drinking, eating, and moving—become clearly recognizable without having to stand next to her. Other riders at the yard have also recorded 24-hour routes and were amazed to see what their horses do throughout the day. A comparison showed that the distances vary depending on the horse’s character and even the weather.

For our yard owners, the tracker has also been extremely valuable. It showed which areas of the paddock are used a lot and which areas could be improved or made more interesting. With very simple means, we gained incredibly insightful information.
